Return of the KING!
The domestic season is nearly over boys so you know what means???? It’s the Euro's this summer and if England continue their poor tournament form and are knocked out early we also have the inaugural Great British Olympic team to cheer on even if the Scots and the welsh are part of it, well I suppose it’s the only major tournament they will feature in for a while.
Well anyway back to the Euro's and inevitably the souvenirs that accompany every major competition will be hitting the shelves soon, yes that's right the EA sports EURO 2012 game, souvenir magazines, newspaper pull outs etc so when the tournament kicks off most people will have had their pre tournament fill of merchandise.
There is one thing though that never gets old!!! Yes boys you guessed it the Panini sticker album is out already, Don't even think your too old to start collecting the stickers - you're never too old for Panini!
None of these trading card rubbish that the kids these days are into, the good old sticker album lives on.
We all remember the first time you started collecting the sticker albums, mine was Mexico 86 with that little green mascot pique, since then there have been other companies trying to get in on the craze but believe me Panini is and always will be the best in my opinion.
The stickers seem to be a little smaller than I remember but I could be wrong and there is the usual shinny’s to collect. The album retails at around £2.99 with 3 packs of free stickers normally but in recent weeks I have noticed the albums being given away free in most Co-op stores. The stickers are
retailing at 50p per pack which consists of 6 stickers per pack. If you shop round you can pick up some good deals on multi packs, for example Asda are doing 2 booster packs consisting of 6 packs in each for £5 - so that's we packs of stickers for £5 in layman terms.
The creation of the internet has also allowed would be sticker collectors fill their collections by ordering missing stickers online and this collection is no different, Panini will allow you to order up to 50 stickers to fill your collection if needed.
So overall sticker collections aren't just for boys / teenagers they are for all footy loving men so get collecting and remember am collecting them too (for my son) so if ye need any swaps get in touch ha ha.
